Today's posting is for 6, 1MB 30 pin SIMM FPM (Fast page Mode) DRAM with Parity. Assembled by the Indian tech giant of the mid 90s Wipro Centum. Each board is serialized (see below)
These are a working set that came from a functional computer a little over a year ago. They all worked perfectly fine when they came out. Since then, I no longer have the capabilities of testing them. They have been kept in an ESD bag and should work perfectly fine. The date codes on these chips correlate to
Samsung 405Y: The 4 represents 1994, and the 5 indicates the 5th week
TFA 93 14: These chips were made on the 14th week of 1993 (early April)
Yes these are about a year apart on the chips manufacturing. They were assembled in India in 1994 after the company got up and running see below for more details.
