Years ago, my company Tex*In Treasures, purchased a batch of Prototype or test cartridges which were used by TI for making sure the PLATO cartridge was ready for retail release. These modules were hand manufactured using the black cartridge case (once released to public the PLATO Interpreter was released in the later beige plastic cases). These cartridges were all accounted for by TI using their Serial Number and Date Code located on the back of each case. When these modules were purchased, I also received the master copy of the TI listing of those people or companies that received Plato cartridges for testing. Buyers of this sale will receive a copy of this nine page document. The pictures show the back side serial number of one of the modules and that cartridge number in the listing. All buyers, of course, will not receive the same serial number as the one shown but will be guaranteed to receive a cartridge number on that list. YOU can own one of the first PLATO cartridges made by the Texas Instruments development division!!
