Our Blue RJ45 Strain Relief Boots are small rubber end caps designed to slip over and cover an Ethernet Cable modular plug.They are made to fit Cat5/5e and Cat6 twisted pair cables and standard RJ45 8P8C connectors. With these boots you will extend the life of the modular plug by protecting it from dust and Oxidation.It also protects the cable by reducing cable bend radius that can cause reduced speeds and data loss.It also prevents the cable from being torn or cracked as well as protecting the latch clip from snagging or snapping off.

The Strain Relief boots are typically used on newly made Ethernet patch cables. Just install the boot onto the new cable before terminating connector ends, then slide boot over the modular plug when ready. These boots can also be reused after disassembling a cable.Our strain relief boots are easy to coordinate with your Ethernet cables giving it a nice organized look.
