Rare and highly collectible 1983 NEC Advanced Personal Computer (APC) Model APC-H03P Color APC — the dual 8-inch floppy color version of NEC’s early 16-bit business system.
This is the original NEC APC (not the later APC II or APC III). Manufactured in February 1983 by Nippon Electric Co., Ltd. in Fuchu City, Tokyo, Japan (Chassis Family TU002). It features a built-in color CRT display, dual front-loading 8-inch floppy drives labeled A and B, and the distinctive beige/black case with the colorful NEC logo badge.Key Specifications (historical)

Powers on and passes POST. Screen displays a steady green [*] cursor/prompt (typical waiting-for-boot behavior).
Dual 8-inch drives present and accessible.
Keyboard is complete in overall form but missing a few keys (visible in photos; includes numeric keypad, function keys, CLEAR HOME, PRINT, etc.).
Original box is present and structural but shows age, dust, and wear consistent with 40+ year storage.This is a heavy, substantial machine (system alone is typically in the 80 lb / ~36 kg range; with box and packing it can exceed 100 lbs). Preferred sale is local buyer pickup. I am open to a buyer arranging and paying for professional shipping, but note that cost will be significant due to weight and the need for careful packing of a vintage CRT system.
