Up for grabs today is a max spec version of the mighty Toshiba Satellote P25, the S676. This means it has the extra video ports on the back, the TV tuner in front in place of a battery, the geforce go 5700 nvidia card, as well as a high speed pentium 4 processor. In this case its got the SL793 Northwood chip at the fastest 3.4ghz!

I recently repasted the processor and was going to set it up as a retro gaming unit, but then the graphics started artifacting on me when I started putting discs in. I haven't tried a reflow on the chipsets but I think that would resolve it for a little bit. It probably needs to be reballed for long term stability.

Testing with a drive from another unit does confirm it has the fx5700 and the driver is fine,  it really is just the vram that's artifacting. Hopefully you know the right way to fix it. You will need to have your own hdd to install to, the picture was only to show the working condition.

Unit comes as pictured. Its in good physical shape and the cpu areas all freshened up, its just the graphics going out. Seems to be a great unit otherwise.
