Vintage Wang Laboratories Circuit Board featuring early Intel 8080A microprocessors.
This is an original Wang Labs PCB pulled from 1970s-era Wang equipment (likely a Wang 928 series word-processing system or related terminal/controller). Wang was a major manufacturer of dedicated word processors and office systems before the IBM PC era, and many of their machines used the Intel 8080A.
Key markings on the board:
• 6443 R2
• wang
• 00391871
• E 03251
• 027 PCC1
Notable components:
• Intel P8080A microprocessors (plastic DIP, early © Intel ’74 date codes)
• Multiple windowed EPROMs/PROMs
• Dense TTL logic (74-series chips)
• Long edge connector typical of Wang system boards
The board is intact with all major chips still soldered in place. It is sold as a collectible / restoration part for vintage computing and Wang equipment enthusiasts.
Condition: Used / untested. Shows normal age-related wear consistent with 45+ year-old equipment. No major physical damage, missing major components, or heavy corrosion noted (see photos). Sold as-is for parts, restoration, or display. Not tested for functionality.
Ideal for:
• Wang Laboratories collectors and restorers
• Early microprocessor / 8080A collectors
• Vintage word-processing system enthusiasts
• Display or historical computer projects
Please note: This is proprietary Wang hardware, not a standard S-100 board. Exact system model and board function have not been fully verified beyond the visible markings and components.
Shipping: Will be carefully packaged. Buyer is responsible for any import duties if shipping internationally.
