ABOUT THE USAGE HISTORY
These drives came from a professional hardware QA and software-development test environment rather than a typical desktop/workstation installation.
The drives were generally installed in only one or two NVMe storage enclosures during their service life and were not routinely moved between systems.
Much of the storage testing consisted of FIO read/write workloads using common block sizes, along with system, enclosure and software testing.
Because these drives were used in a test-lab environment, many have relatively high Power-On Hours, Power Cycle counts and Unsafe Shutdown counts. Repeated power cycles, reboots and power-state testing were part of the development/QA environment.
