The Shuttle XPC SB86iis a small form factor barebone cube PC released in 2005 that is notable for using Intel’s early BTX (picoBTX) motherboard and thermal layout. It supports Intel LGA775 Pentium 4 and Celeron D processors, PCI-E graphics cards, DDR RAM, and comes with a unique stylized front lip bezel. In typical Pentium 4 fashion, this system does run quite warm, so while it is suitable for entertainment center setups or other limited spaces, it is best to make sure it has plenty of space around it for cooling. If that is ensured, this system will be ready to rock some classic games.

Powers up and boots to a fresh install of Windows XP Professional 32-bit with all drivers installed.
Stress-tested with 3DMark 2001 SE, stable.
Minor wear and tear, scratches and scuffs on case from normal use.
Unit has been wiped down inside and out.
New Arctic MX4 thermal paste applied to processor.
New CMOS battery installed.
Optical and Hard Drive caddy is missing and replaced with a crude fabrication. Not pretty, but works to keep things secure.
Optical drive has been tested and working. Push-button for eject needs a bit more inward force to activate.
Blue LED light bar at the top serves as the power light. Brightness can be adjusted in BIOS. Orange middle LED is hard drive activity.
Ready for retro gaming as is or for further upgrades.
