For sale is a Sonnet Presto Plus LC3-66iT processor upgrade card for compatible Macintosh LC, Performa, and Color Classic systems.
This is the 68LC040 version. The card provides a 66/33MHz 68040-class processor upgrade, built-in 10Base-T Ethernet, and onboard RAM expansion.
Compatible models listed by Sonnet include Macintosh LC, LC II, LC III, LC III+, LC 520, LC 550, Performa 250, 275, 400, 405, 410, 430, 450, 460, 466, 467, 520, 550, 560, Color Classic, and Color Classic II.
The card plugs into the Macintosh PDS slot. Sonnet documentation states compatibility with System 7.1 through Mac OS 8.1, using the appropriate Sonnet software.32-bit addressing must be enabled.
Included are the Presto Plus card, original box, installation documentation, Presto software disk, Presto 8 Enabler boot diskette, and Sonnet sticker as shown.
Used vintage condition. The card is clean overall, and the original box and documentation show normal age-related wear, marks, and storage wear.
