By purchasing you acknowledge this item is in the state as described in this listing and viewed in the photos.The main board of the laptop looks to be in good condition and has a number of chips/components that may be useful in for another laptop or repair of another 505sx. Most notable are probably the 300 mhz Intel Pentium MMX CPU, NeoMagic MagicGraph 128XD GPU, and 64Mb of hard to find Sony Proprietary RAM modules (2x 32MB ADTEC PC80161A). No hard drive is included but the hard drive cage and screws are. The lower shell has some wear but is in decent condition. The shell of these 505s are made up of entirely magnesium.I hope someone can use this to either get another 505sx back up and running or use it to restore another vintage laptop. A lot of great vintage components to pull from this.
