Physically, this VAIO is in good overall condition considering its age. The exterior and interior of the laptop have expected cosmetic wear from age and use including but not limited to chips, scratches, scuffs, scrapes and/or marks on the entirety of the body. The palmrest has scratches, marks and other general wear from use. There is a broken piece of plastic on the rear left corner. Review all photos to understand the condition of the product being sold.
Functionally, this VAIO is in flawless condition. The CPU has been refreshed with high quality Honeywell PTM7950 thermal interface material for significantly improved thermal performance and reliability. This VAIO will manage the heat from its components better than when new with this thermal material and provide the best possible multimedia and computing performance. An original Sony battery is included with the laptop and has been confirmed to both charge and hold a charge but qualities like battery health, life and usage time are not guaranteed due to age and prior use. The battery tray within Windows states the battery should be replaced. A fresh installation of Windows 7 Home Premium has been pre-installed along with many VAIO applications and critical system drivers and Windows updates. Some VAIO and model-specific software may be missing due to the unavailability of downloads and recovery media for this laptop.
