I dont know what else to tell ya. It is 4 cores total, and its not the fastest thing on the block. but does heavy lifting pretty well.
I ran linux on it for two years without a hitch. I will leave the install on it. I have not tested a later Kernel, but should work fine.
Fun to play with and learn on. Or just fill that space in the rack......
would trade for 40gb switch with mounting hardware.
freakin shipping in rediculous. I usually end up paying a third out of pocket anyway... so Ill try to keep it low.
