Supermicro SuperServer SYS-E200-8D. Complete and ready to boot - RAM and SSD both installed.
History and condition: this ran light production duty in my home lab. It wasn't a bench-test box or a flip - it was powered on and doing real work, it handled it without a single fault, and it's for sale because I consolidated my lab. Known working, no issues of any kind. Photos show physical Supermicro X10SDV-6C-TLN4F
CPU: Intel Xeon D-1528, 6 cores / 12 threads, 1.9-2.2 GHz, 35W TDP, 9MB cache (soldered SoC)Memory: 64GB DDR4-2400 ECC Registered (4x 16GB) - installed and testedStorage: 240GB Intel DC S3510 enterprise SATA SSD in the internal 2.5" bay - installed, secure-erased and testedThe included SSD has full power-loss protection (onboard capacitors) - it's a real enterprise drive, not a consumer SSD. That matters if you're running ZFS, a hypervisor datastore, or anything doing synchronous writes.Networking: 2x 10GBase-T (RJ45), 2x Gigabit Ethernet, 1x dedicated IPMI LANExpansion: 1x PCIe 3.0 x8 low-profile slotAdditional storage: 1x internal 2.5" bay (9.5mm), 6x SATA3 portsChassis: SC101F compact mini-1U with internal power supplyManagement: IPMI 2.0 with dedicated LAN and full HTML5 remote KVM - no add-on license needed on this generationOn the M.2 slot - I've deliberately left it empty. This board's M.2 slot is M-key and documented as PCIe 3.0 x4, but it also muxes to the I-SATA0 port, so it takes either an NVMe drive or an M.2 SATA drive. The manual buries this, which is why it's the most-asked question on the X10SDV boards. I've run 1TB M.2 SATA SSDs in these exact servers myself, so I can confirm SATA mode works rather than guessing from a datasheet.
The server boots today off the 240GB enterprise SSD in the internal 2.5" bay, which leaves the M.2 slot completely free for whatever you want to put in it - an NVMe boot drive, a fast VM datastore, or nothing at all. You're not paying for a drive you'd immediately replace, and you're not losing your best expansion path to one either.
Tested and confirmed before listing: POSTs cleanly - all 64GB detected - IPMI accessible over the dedicated LAN - all four network ports link. SSD secure-erased, BIOS reset to defaults, IPMI credentials reset to factory.
What's included: the server, with the 64GB RAM and the 240GB SSD as listed, and power cables. No OS and no license.
Excellent choice for a Proxmox, ESXi, TrueNAS, pfSense/OPNsense or Kubernetes lab node - 10GbE and IPMI in a genuinely low-power 1U footprint. Drop in an OS and it's running the same day.
