The Supermicro X9DRD-7LN4F / CSE-847 36-Bay Dual Power Supply Server is a high-density storage server platform built for enterprise, cloud, archival or backup infrastructures where capacity, reliability and flexibility matter. At its heart lies the X9DRD-7LN4F dual-processor server board which supports the Intel Xeon E5-2600/v2 family processors, high-capacity DDR3 memory, multiple I/O and SAS/SATA interfaces.
Combined with a chassis featuring 36 hot-swappable drive bays, this system is tailored for large-scale storage demands — whether you’re configuring a JBOD expansion shelf, a storage pool for virtualization, or a backend server for media or content delivery. The dual redundant power supplies and enterprise-grade features like remote management and high-availability components make it ideal for 24/7 server environments.
