This drive was removed from a fully operational Synology NAS solely as part of a storage-capacity upgrade. It was functioning normally when removed.
Prior to sale, the drive was completely zero-overwritten across its full 20TB user-addressable capacity. SMART data was captured again after the wipe, and all important media-health counters remained clean.

SMART data was captured through a USB-to-SATA dock. The dock substitutes its own controller model (INIC66X1) in the identification portion of the diagnostic report; the serial number and SMART health attributes shown correspond to this physical drive. The drive's actual model and serial are clearly shown on the physical label in the listing photographs.
