This is a Synology RS1221+ NAS. We purchased it for a data storage project that ended up being canceled, so it was never used. The drives have been installed and initialized, but nothing has been written to them. The NAS has been upgraded to 32GB RAM and includes 8 24TB 7,200RPM hard drives, as well as a brand new Synology M.2 adapter card (M2D20) which was never installed. We purchased everything in April of this year (2026) and will include receipts for warranty purposes. The RAM has a lifetime warranty, the drives have 5 year warranties and the NAS has a 3 year warranty.
