Complete & very clean Tandy 1000 Personal Computer (PC) system that boots-up, POSTs, and works properly.Perfect for collectors, retro gaming enthusiasts, vintage computer hobbyists, or for display in a museum.
The system, keyboard, and monitor work properly, but no testing was done beyond that; all other functions and the printer are untested.
I'm selling the entire system, including the Tandy CM-2 color monitor & DMP-120 dot-matrix printer that were bought at the same time. Also included are the original factory Tandy boxes and foam inserts.I will not part the system out.

128K RAM that's been upgraded to 640K RAM
Two internal 5.25" double-density floppy disk drives
My Dad later upgraded the Tandy with a Seagate hard disk, Model# ST-351 A/X
Power cables and other assorted cables and other parts are included that were in the boxes
The system will ship in the factory Tandy boxes & foam inserts that she came in
No manuals or disks were in the boxes and are not MS-DOS, version 3.2 / Tandy version 03.20.22
This software seems to be built-in, because there's no disks.
Quicken and some other software seem to be on the hard disk, but I don't know how to verify that.
(This is the information displayed on the monitor during bootup...but I have no idea what I'm reading, so look at the bootup photos yourself to decipher it.)

No or very little yellowing, since she's been in storage for decades

HISTORY:My Dad bought the system new back in the early 80's, because he was a programmer for a large company and used the Tandy for his own programming hobby at home, such as tracking NFL football stats...while I used her for writing term papers when I was in high school & college. After a few years, he bought a new PC and boxed-up & stored the Tandy...and that's how she's been the last 35+ years.
She's been stored in her original Tandy boxes and foam since the late 80's and everything is still clean, looks great, and works...although I couldn't try the printer, since the ribbon is dried out.
My Dad recently passed away, so I've decided to sell the system, because I'll never use her. After I recently reassembled her and verified that she still worked, I then removed the covers and took a bunch of photos of the Tandy, inside & out, plus a couple videos of her booting up, in preparation of selling her. The reality is that I'll never use her, so I want her to go to a good home or collector or museum who can appreciate her and the personal computer history she represents, instead of her just sitting in her boxes forever.
It's been almost 40 years since I've used the Tandy for school papers, as a teen back in the 80's...so I don't remember much about her details or how to use her. She boots up fine, as you can see in the photos & video. I can try to answer questions you may have, but I simply don't know or remember much about her any longer.
I have more photos that I can email to you, upon request, since only allows posting 24 photos and one video.I have the system listed in other places, so prior sale may occur.
NOTE 1:The system will ship in her original three factory separate boxes: The CPU and keyboard in their box, the monitor in its box, and the printer in its box. Any included cables will be enclosed in the PC's box for shipping.
