I am selling my UVD Universal Video Driver board which adds inexpensive and easy Composite Video and audio out to your TRS-80 Color computer and TRS-80 Color computer 2.

I cant believe I have to say this as every single person who bought this adapter up until now has had zero problems or complaints but one bad apple spoils the bunch.. We just got a buyer who apparently has gorilla hands and ripped off every single signal clip lead from the adapter. So because of them I need to say \"if you have no experience opening or working on electronics and have a bad case of sausage fingers.. .this adapter is not for you\".

This is a clone of the original Mark Data Products UVD board from the mid 1980s.

This is a SOLDERLESS install. You don’t need to do anything but pop the top cover and clip the leads onto 5 locations and your done! I did all the work, the board leads are color coded and have IC clips soldered to them. Just follow the instructions depending on what model and board ofCOCOyou own and you are done. After building this I had it installed and running in my TRS-80 COCO 2 Model 26-3136 in under 5 minutes.I will beinstalling another into my early model Rev D Color Computer 1.

Edit: I haveinstalled this MOD into my early 1980 COCO 1rev D board and its as simple as the instructions described.

The board has thick Heat Shrink tubing to insulate it from making contact with anything. Just clip the 5 leads where they need to go and lay the UVD board anywhere you want. You can route it as I did in the photo. Drill holes or make changes as you see fit. Its your Computer do with it as you want but just remember Like I did, you don’t need to make any changes. Just pop it in and go with no modification to the system.
