Have a dead floppy drive in your Tandy 1000 computer? No problem! Replace it with a standard PC floppy drive with this adapter!

Add a 3.5" floppy drive to replace the 5.25" drive in your Tandy 1000 HX or add a second 3.5" floppy drive to your 1000 EX... Or replace your failed 5.25" drive with a standard PC 5.25" drive. There are so many possibilities!

Thisadapter allows you to connect a standard PC floppy drive to one of theTandy computers that supplies power over the floppy cable (i.e. the HX and RLX,etc). Replace your failed internal Tandy drive with a standard off the shelf PC floppy drive.

Supported Models include HX, SL/2, TX, TL, TL/2, TL/3, RL, RLX and RSX.

NOTE!!!!!Someone brought to my attention a variant tandy machine which has both the HX and a flipped backwards cable connector. The flipped connector could possibly cause damage to your drive. I had no idea this exists as I dont own a Tandy system with that cable.

These were made because many folks want to add a 2nd drive or replace a dead Floppy Drive in their Tandy 1000's but due to the non-standard power-over-cable-design were unable to find a compatible replacement drive.

NOTE: ONLY the "Tandy 1000 Internal Floppy Drive Adapter" is for sale, other items pictured are for demo purposes only. This adapter isnotcompatible with Gotek Virtual drives.
