Do you have to take your laptop out at the TSA checkpoint these days? Shoes off or shoes on? Can I put two separate things in a bin if they’re not overlapping? A slightly different set of rules every time, but with this 15.4” Targus TBT045-50 Mobile Elite Checkpoint-Friendly Briefcase you’ll be ready for whatever indignities stand between you and your gate. (Except for the $22 grilled cheese sandwich at that hipster-y brewpub on Concourse A. Nothing can protect you from the indignity of those prices.) But this particular laptop case includes a cushion bar beneath your laptop, offering some protection if you (or the TSA agent) drops it on the floor. The middle compartment opens all the way for easy access/visibility/inspection. Lots of pockets, as can be seen in the photos. Trolley strap to attach the bag to your rollerbag-style suitcase, and the shoulder strap has never been removed from its original wrapping.
This bag easily fits my largest laptop, but anything wider than 15.4” is going to get snug fast.
