The DisplayPort 1.1-compliant cable supports HD resolutions up to 1920 x 1080 (1080p) at 60 Hz with 36-bit Deep Color. The USB 2.0 cable supports 480 Mbps speeds. The bus-powered cable kit requires no software or external power adapter. A sliding switch on the back of the housing lets you decide between USB power mode or USB + DP power mode with LEDs indicating which mode you have chosen.
