The Adaptec 3000S (commonly powered by the dual-channel AIC-7899G chip) is an Ultra160 SCSI RAID controller card designed for high-performance servers.
It delivers a maximum bandwidth of 160 MB/sec per channel (320 MB/sec total) and supports both internal and external SCSI peripherals.
