The Nokia N800 Internet tablet is a wireless touchscreen Internet tablet PC from Nokia. It was originally announced at the Las Vegas CES 2007 Summit in January 2007. This tablet PC allows the user to browse the Internet and communicate using Wi-Fi networks or paired with a mobile phone via Bluetooth. VoIP voice and video calling is supported. The N800 was developed as the successor to the Nokia 770 tablet. It includes a still and video camera, FM and Internet radio, Web browser, RSS news reader, image viewer and Media players for audio and video files including MP3, AVI, MPG and MKV.
The N800 uses the Nokia Maemo Linux distro with a standard Linux kernel. It supports many standard ARM Linux applications including a standard BASH terminal app with all standard Linux command line utilities such as SSH, etc. A very large base of standard Linux user application packages is available for installation. It is also capable dual booting and running full standard ARM Linux distros such asDebian or Fedora.Included Accessories:
