**there are numerous corroded pins on the display chips
**At one point it was displaying only a thin line at the top of the screen, but I had a friend attempt repair by soldering new wires on the corroded pins, but it was going to cost me more than it's worth due to the time involved. I'm sure someone with a lot of time on their hands could get it working again.
