Usage requirements
The bed must be stable, with a detection force of 500 to 800 grams (SW, V1.8, LG, V0 beds are not rigid enough).

The tool head must have a 5V or a special 24V sensor PCB

Settings after installation:
Update printer.cfg as recommended in the TAP Klipper instructions
Reset Z to zero and test the virtual Z end by raising the tool head
Heat your machine and run probe_accuracy= 100 twice to "break in" your probe
Run the probe_accuracy check a few more times (default is 10 probes)
For well-built machines, you can expect to see a standard deviation between 0.0000 and 0.0008.

Will Tap damage my print surface?
No, the detection temperature limit is 150 ° C. The team suggested spraying spring steel.Users of smooth PEI may find slight polishing marks if they continuously probe the same point.
Will the Hartk 2-chip PCB work with Tap?
Yes, but it needs a little modification.Please refer to the disharmony pin.
Can I use optical sensors not specified in the BOM?

Can I use a microswitch?

Yes, if your bed is hard, the force can reach 800 grams.

The team explored many designs and achieved an additional weight of approximately 50 grams as a good balance between rigidity and weight.
If my sensor probe is working properly, why do I still need this one?
Tap achieves a better user experience because it eliminates most of the baby-stepping required due to thermal expansion, nozzle and bed surface changes.
Is clicking obviously more accurate than klicky?
