Vintage 1987 Epson LX-800 Printer User's Manual
Description
Up for sale is a vintage Epson LX-800 Printer User's Manual from 1987. This user's manual pertained to a printer that we had back in the day, but only wound up throwing away since it broke down at one point and that was just after sourcing replacement ribbons for it turned into a rather difficult task. But at any rate, the actual printer is long gone now, but what remains is this manual which oddly enough can fetch up a pretty penny nowadays amongst the retro computer enthusiasts/collectors community.
The manual is in fairly good shape, but with some noticeable creases and/or page bends to it as it was kept on a shelf for quite some time and then placed in a storage bin along with several other manuals in close proximity which may have slightly bent out of shape and whatnot. The spiral ringed spline may be slightly crushed/bent out of shape with some very minimal rips on the cover links towards the top and bottom of the book. There's also a touch of foxing (or yellowing) throughout the pages and covers of the book; especially on the rear where it's most noticeable.
Aside from these minor cosmetic blemishes, the book itself is still in perfectly legible shape and also includes a fold out quick reference card which was never cut-out of the book itself; despite the printed cut here (with a scissor symbol) instructions and what have you. Anyways, I have no plans on keeping this book around the house anymore, as it's only taking up space; hence the reason why I'm pricing it to move, so please be sure to get in on this deal while it still lasts, for my loss is your gain as they say in the trade!
