SIZE
Full-size Commodore 64 breadbin-style personal computer with original retail box and molded Styrofoam packaging.
DESCRIPTION
Late-production vintage Commodore 64 personal computer with its original serial-number-matching GEOS/QuantumLink promotional retail box, power supply, video cable, molded Styrofoam packaging, paperwork and Commodore Clowns cartridge.
This is an interesting late-production example of the classic breadbin-style Commodore 64. Internal inspection revealed a factory label marked “C64E N,” HKC serial number 480668, and “WW 3.” The preprinted “87/88” year designation is crossed out and “89” is handwritten in its place, documenting a week 3 of 1989 production marking.
The exact motherboard ASSY number has not been verified because the original metal RF shielding remains installed.
The computer's exterior serial number is CA1241528. The original Commodore retail box retains its factory serial-number label showing the same CA1241528 serial number.
TESTING
Tested and working.
The Commodore 64 was connected to a display using the included power supply and video connection. The included Commodore Clowns cartridge successfully loaded and operated.
Atari paddle controllers were used to test controller input. The computer recognized and responded to paddle movement. Paddle operation was very sensitive/finicky and movement was unusually fast. The Atari paddles were not independently verified with another system, and no known-good Commodore-specific paddles were available for comparison. Normal paddle-controller performance is therefore not guaranteed.
CONDITION
Pre-owned vintage condition with expected cosmetic wear, marks and discoloration/yellowing from age and storage. All keyboard keys appear to be present.
The computer was opened for internal inspection. The original RF shielding remains installed and shows oxidation, spotting and discoloration consistent with age.
The original retail box has substantial age and storage wear including staining/discoloration, creasing, edge and corner wear, crushing, tape/tape residue and other cosmetic deterioration. The original factory serial-number label remains attached and matches the computer.
The molded Styrofoam packaging shows expected age and storage wear.
Please examine all photographs carefully. Photographs show the actual computer, packaging, accessories and condition of the items being offered.

COLLECTOR INFORMATION
