IMPORTANT BATTERY DAMAGE: The original VARTA Ni/Cd 3.6V 60mAh barrel battery has leaked significantly. There is clearly visible corrosion/residue on the motherboard surrounding the battery, nearby components, traces and mounting-hole area. Evidence of corrosion is also visible on the underside of the PCB.
Please carefully review all close-up photos for the extent of the visible damage.
Condition:
For Parts or Not Working — Battery Corrosion
This motherboard has significant visible leakage/corrosion from the original VARTA barrel battery.
The board has not been powered on or tested in its present condition, and I would consider it a restoration/repair project. The extent of electrical or trace damage is unknown.
Sold as-is for repair, restoration, parts, or vintage computer collecting. Buyer should assume the battery will need to be removed and the affected area properly evaluated/repaired before attempting operation.
