Vintage Acer Acros 500HD desktop computer, Extension 9133, manufactured July 17, 1995. This computer is being sold as-is for parts, repair, or restoration.
The computer powers on and produces a video signal. It completes the memory test and recognizes approximately 64MB of RAM. The BIOS setup utility is accessible.
A CMOS battery/checksum error appears during startup. The motherboard contains a Dallas DS12887 Real Time Clock module with an integrated CMOS battery, which may require replacement or repair. The computer may also produce repeating beeps during startup while waiting for user input.
A vintage Maxtor 71260AT approximately 1.26GB IDE hard drive is installed. However, the BIOS displayed 0 MB for the fixed disk, so the hard drive was not detected. The operational condition of the hard drive is unknown, and no operating system was loaded.
The computer also includes:
