Vintage Apple iMac G3 “Sorry, no beige.” Wristwatch – Two Original Bands
Price: US $249.95

Offered for sale is an original vintage Apple-branded "Mac Plastic Watch" dating to the late 1990s, during the introduction of Apple's revolutionary iMac G3.

The watch features the famous Apple advertising slogan "Sorry, no beige." and comes with both interchangeable wristbands in Bondi Blue and Ice White.

The Bondi Blue band holds the original analog watch with its distinctive blue-and-white numbered dial. The Ice White band has a circular opening designed to accept the same removable watch. Both bands feature matching metal buckles with small Apple logos.

The back of the watch has the Apple logo engraved into the metal case, surrounded by engraved lettering.

Historical Background

This particular wristwatch design dates to Apple's colorful iMac G3 era, beginning in 1998. The “Sorry, no beige.” advertising campaign celebrated Apple's departure from the conventional beige computers that dominated the industry.

A contemporary Japanese electronics retailer's catalog documents this watch with its two interchangeable bands, originally offered for ¥7,800. It is identified in surviving period packaging as the "Mac Plastic Watch."

Today, it makes an interesting addition to a collection of vintage Apple computers, advertising, and promotional merchandise.
