1984 vintage Archive "Scorpion" full height tape drive model 5945L-3. This drive has a standard half height tape drive mechanism on top, and a half height enclosure below containing a QIC-02 formatter board. Overall, the drive appears to be in excellent physical condition for it's age, with only minor signs of use (please see photos for condition). The rubber capstan drive roller appears to still be in good condition (one picture shows a close-up).
I have had this drive in storage for a number of years, but no longer have a means, or a controller card to test it.
