One of the most iconic, historically important and increasingly difficult-to-find computers from the dawn of the personal computing revolution.

The PET 2001 represents far more than simply an old computer. It is one of the machines that helped create the modern computer industry as we know it today.

Highly desirable PET 2001-8 version featuring the famous Chicklet keyboard, one of the most recognizable keyboard designs ever produced by Commodore.

Unlike later PET models, early Chicklet PET systems have become exceptionally sought after because they represent the very first generation of Commodore personal computers.

The system is offered exactly as shown in the photographs. Please review all photographs carefully, as they form an essential part of the description.

The machine is substantially complete and has its original monitor, original integrated Datasette cassette drive, original Chicklet keyboard, original housing and original serial number label. It was tested by powering it on, typing on the keyboard and confirming displayed characters on the monitor. Cassette drive turns slowly. Unit is a very clean example for its age, with little signs of use. Very few survive in this great of condition.
