Cyrix 6x86L-PR200+GP 150MHz Socket 7 desktop CPU, 75 MHz FSB x 2, 2.8VHere is a ceramic CPU which Cyrix first released in early 1997 to compete with Intel's Pentium.. I just pulled this out of a minitower with an Amptron PM8600 motherboard, which I saw boot consistently.
Despite the name, this is neither a 6th generation or a 200 MHz processor. It is a 150 MHz processor with a 75 MHz front side bus.
You can find complete specifications for this processor at this this CPU will physically fit in an older Socket 5 or Socket 7, it will probably NOT upgrade your older Pentium CPU. This CPU uses a core voltage of 2.8V Not all socket 7 motherboards have jumper settings to set the front side bus to 75MHz or the core voltage to 2.8V
