Vintage Dolch PAC 65 rugged portable industrial computer with its original detachable keyboard.
The computer powered on and displayed text on the screen. However, the screen was very dim and shortly afterward smoke began coming from the side of the unit. It was immediately unplugged and has not been powered on again.
The exact cause of the smoke is unknown. It may have an issue with the power supply or another internal component. No additional testing was performed.
