Back before computers became toasters...
Up for sale is a Vintage Gateway 2000 (yes, Gateway 2000, not Gateway!) Pentium tower. Clocking in at 133mhz and 48mb of RAM, this unit is guaranteed NOT to run the newest games. But it will run period-specific software splendidly.
Tested:Computer powers on, floppy drive works, CD-ROM drive works. I formatted the hard drive with an 8GB FAT32 partition, and it boots to a DOS prompt. I also ran a Scandisk surface scan on the hard drive and it detected no bad sectors.
I have not installed Windows on it, but I put a CD in the drive and it read through the directories. So you should have no problem installing the operating system of your choice, either DOS, Windows 95 or Windows 98.
