Vintage HP LaserJet 6MP monochrome laser printer, model C3982A, manufactured in 1996.
This model includes Adobe PostScript support and was designed for use with both Macintosh and Windows-era computer systems.
Testing:The printer powers on, feeds paper, and successfully produces a built-in hardware self-test page. The printed output currently has heavy streaking, fading, and ghosting.
The cause of the print-quality issue has not been diagnosed. It may require a replacement toner cartridge, cleaning, maintenance, or additional repair. No guarantee is made that replacing the toner alone will correct the issue.
Condition:The printer is in very good vintage cosmetic condition with minor age-related marks and signs of storage. Please review all photos for the exact condition.
