Lot of 5 vintage Kaypro-branded EPROM chips, part number 81-486, dated © 1984 KAYPRO. These are genuine factory-original Kaypro BIOS ROM chips used on the Kaypro PC/EXP CPU board (Kaypro's IBM PC/XT-compatible 8088 line).

Underlying silicon is standard 2764-type UV-erasable EPROM (8K x 8, 12.5V programming voltage), manufactured by AMD, Toshiba, and Mitsubishi under Kaypro's private label — confirmed from the die markings visible on the chip bodies.

Chips have handwritten inventory marks (letters/numbers in pen/marker) from prior handling — these are not factory markings and do not affect chip identity or function.

Sold as pulled/untested — no way to verify data integrity or functionality without a working
