Original vintage Apple Computer Inc. hooded/shrouded monitor power cable, Apple part number 590-0372.
This is the approximately 6-foot gray Apple version used with compatible vintage Apple Macintosh computers and monitors. The shrouded end plugs into compatible monitor equipment, while the other end connects to a compatible computer's power-out port. It may also be used as a power extension cable with compatible equipment.
The original paper identification label is still attached and reads:
590-0372

Condition
Used vintage condition. Untested.
The cable shows normal cosmetic wear, marks and discoloration consistent with its age and long-term storage. The original Apple/Hirakawa paper label remains attached.
Please note: There is an approximately 1/4-inch area where the outer gray plastic jacket is slightly peeled/scuffed. This happened when I pulled the cable away from other cables that had been bundled together in storage. A close-up photograph of this exact area is included so the buyer can clearly see its condition.
The damage appears localized to the outer plastic jacket, but I have not opened or electrically tested the cable to determine whether there is any underlying damage. For that reason, the cable is being sold untested and as pictured. Buyer should inspect the photos and determine suitability before electrical use.
