Lot of Prodigy online service software including two original retail boxes, eight 3.5" floppy disks, and one Prodigy Internet CD-ROM. Prodigy was one of the "big three" consumer online services of the early 1990s alongside AOL and CompuServe, launched as a joint venture between IBM and Sears in 1988.
This lot includes two different generations of Prodigy packaging. The yellow "Interactive Personal Service Start-up Kit" box represents the earlier Prodigy Classic era, advertising travel, shopping, finance, news, and 30 free personal messages per month. The "Membership Kit" box is the Macintosh version 2.1 edition, priced at $14.95/month. The Prodigy Internet "Make It Yours" CD sleeve represents the later ISP transition period of the late 1990s.
The floppy disks include three complete Macintosh v2.1 Software Disk 1/Disk 2 sets, one sealed Macintosh Installation Disk v3.1, and one Windows Installation Disk v1.2.
