Step straight into the golden age of green-screen computing, UNIX mainframes, and 1980s data centers.
Up for sale is an authentic, original TeleVideo Computer Terminal Keyboard featuring a full tactile layout and classic industrial two-tone styling. Built like a tank during an era when computer hardware was made to outlast the desk it sat on, this keyboard originally paired with TeleVideo’s workhorse video display terminals (such as the 925, 950, and 955 series).
Underneath the thick, sculpted keycaps are genuine Key Tronic foam-and-foil capacitive switches, known among vintage keyboard enthusiasts and restoration hobbyists for their distinctive feel and historic build architecture.
Features & Hardware Highlights:
Original TeleVideo Branding: Classic raised badge intact at the top right.
Dedicated Terminal Layout: Features rare editing block keys (Char Insert, Line Delete, Page Erase, Send), full numeric keypad, and 16 dedicated top function keys.
Programmable Function Legend Strip: Includes the classic "Shifted / Un-Shifted" dry-erase function template above the function row (shows vintage pencil/pen notes from its working life).
Modular Coiled Cable: Original curly coil cord with modular telephone-style RJ connector.
Keycaps & Switches: Thick vintage profile keycaps over Key Tronic white switch housings.
Condition & Notes:
Cosmetic: Pre-owned vintage condition with authentic patina, surface dust, keycap wear, and marks from decades of storage and office use. Handwritten terminal notes and part markings are present along the function strip and number pad.
Whether you are completing a museum-grade vintage terminal restoration, engineering a custom RP2040 converter, or looking for an iconic centerpiece for your retro tech display shelf, this board is a tangible piece of early silicon computing history.
