Voron Tridex Upgrade Kit for Trident 250 - No crimping/soldering/flashing rqd
Price: US $349.95

Up for a sale is a Voron Tridex upgrade kit that includes everything you need to upgrade your Voron Trident 250 to a Voron Tridex (except the panels, which can be sourced from Printed Solid - we will update this listing with an option to include the panels when they come in stock). Along with all the other parts listed on the Voron Tridex BOM including a Stealthburner kit, we have also included all of the parts that make assembly much easier without the need for crimping, soldering, wiring or firmware flashing which can be a MASSIVE headache for a lot of people (for reference, when I first built a Tridex it took me 4 days to properly flash the toolhead boards with Klipper due to an issue with the U2C being able to flash the toolhead boards correctly and the myriad of troubleshooting and googling required to find something that worked). Our rails come from a Voron recommended dealer (CNA Mechanical Parts Store) along with our motors (stepper online and LDO for Z). Our kits include T-Slot extrusions which are NOT MISUMI extrusions, mainly due to the additional cost that is just not worth it from our testing. Our full Tridex kits (coming soon!) will include parts to center the rails on the extrusions, but since this is an upgrade kit, none of the rails will use these t-slot extrusions anyways so there are zero differences in performance.

The additional parts that are not included in the BOM that we include are: wiring harnesses, crimped/soldered & housed end stop wires, crimped & housed toolhead motor, prewired X/Y motors with extensions, a U2C adapter board for easy connections to the CAN toolhead boards, USB Y splitter (for those using a Raspberry Pi 3), and more (see below). You will still need to purchase your flavor of hotend. Send us a message with any questions you may have. Save hours and hours of your time (potentially days) by going with our kit over attempting to source and figure everything out on your own (which let me tell you, is no small potatoes). Even something as simple as wire deciphering turned out to be a lot of trial and error figuring out which wire goes in which order and where to then plug it in using which pinout # for the config and which polarity it has so it's not backwards. We will include photos of the Octopus board and where to plug things in, along with a sample config file that should save you hours of troubleshooting along with other benefits such as an easy calibration x/y/z section for a touchscreen along with a copy/mirror mode section (without being able to move the right toolhead up/down though you may not get perfect 2 color first layers, see below for updated model details). Thanks for browsing!

Keep a watch out for additional listings to come, we will be selling Full Tridex kits along with a completely redesigned IDEX machine similar to Vorons, without the sacrifices & shortcomings that were required to convert a Trident to a Tridex. Eddy did a fantastic job designing the Tridex, but we found too many limitations and sacrifices he had to make to keep it similar enough to a Trident, so we decided to design a machine from the ground up without any of those limitations. For example, our new model uses a belted z layout and will be able to fit a 100mm wider bed in the same width of a Tridex, and by using 9mm belts on the larger models will allow for a much larger bed than 250x250. Our machine is also capable of duplication/mirror mode, whereas the Tridex has issues in doing (mainly because the second toolhead cannot be moved up and down manually for perfect 2-color first layers). Send us a message if you are interested in our new model and we can send you more details until we can get it listed sometime in the fall/winter once our testing is Tridex Upgrade BOM:
