Vintage 1979 Atari BASIC Computing Language cartridge, model CXL4002, for the Atari 400 and 800 home computers. This is the original Atari BASIC programming language, the high-level, easy-to-learn computing language that launched a generation of home programmers. This is the early brown cartridge with the brushed metal Atari / Warner Communications back label.

Condition: The box is bright and solid with light corner and edge wear, a few small white scuffs along one long edge, and light tuck flap wear. The cartridge label is intact with light surface wear, and the back label is clean. Please see photos for full detail.
Compatible with the Atari 400 and 800 (insert in the left cartridge slot on the 800). It should also work with Atari XL/XE computers.
