eSUN PLA-LW is a foaming PLA filament engineered for lightweight prints. Using active foaming technology, it expands as it extrudes, producing parts with significantly lower density than standard PLA — ideal for RC airplanes, gliders, drones, cosplay props, and architectural models where every gram counts. The foaming ratio responds to print temperature, letting you tune between lighter, matte parts and denser, stronger sections.

Printing Guidelines

• Nozzle temperature: 190–210°C — higher temperatures increase foaming (lighter parts); lower temperatures reduce it (denser, stronger parts)
• Heat bed temperature: 50–60°C
• Print speed: 30–60mm/s
• Increase flow/extrusion multiplier to compensate for foaming; start around 110–130% and calibrate with a test cube
• Print a temperature tower first to find the foaming behavior you want

Filament Storage Tips

Store sealed with desiccant in a cool, dry place. Moisture causes inconsistent foaming and rough surfaces — dry at 50–55°C for a few hours if needed.
