Printing Guidelines

• Nozzle temperature: 190–220°C (higher temps can improve the glossy finish)
• Heat bed temperature: 50–60°C
• Print speed: 30–60mm/s — slower speeds show off the silk sheen best
• Cooling fan: 100% for sharp details; silk filament benefits from good cooling

Filament Storage Tips

Keep the spool sealed with desiccant between prints. Silk PLA is more sensitive to moisture than standard PLA — damp filament loses its glossy finish. Store away from direct sunlight to preserve color vibrancy.
