I have been trying to find answer to why I am having trouble getting an e-mail from the forum.
This is checked yes below
Moderator & Administrator Preferences Notify me when a post needs to be approved in a forum I moderate. Yes No
Is there anything else I can do as a moderator to start receiving e-mails from our forum.
It used to send them to me but for some reason it just stopped.
Anyone else have this problem?

first try sending an email to yourself such as email post lost password. Just make sure you send it to your ubb account email. It could be either the host has changed something or your delivery is blocked due to blacklisting

So I am not getting any e-mails - even from the lost password, although it did say it was sent.
So I am assuming it is some sort of host problem.
Thanks for your assistance.

Could be. Not knowing your setup. The main master email account in ubb control panel ,is it from your site domain or your isp.? Meaning the main email is from bbb@mysite.com and you send it to bbb@myisp.com You don't need to provide the whole email if you don't want to. Just show what the domain the email is coming from It is not your member email account it is what your master email address is. That is the address that is sent from the ubb to anyone.
Also If that is true try accessing your email directly at bbb@mysite.com and send it to bbb@myisp.com.

OK this matter is now closed - just got this message from the host.
The system thinks he keeps “unsubscribing†somehow. His email was on the do not send emails too, which trumps the forum information. I removed him
Thanks everyone for their assistance in this matter. My e-mails are now working perfectly.

Huh??? Sounds like it was not everyone but one member. That would have been helpful. Glad you got it working again though.

Just an FYI, if we'd have known from the beginning that it was only one user who was having issues, there would have been entirely different troubleshooting steps.
1 User - Localized issue, likely with their email provider, spam filtering, etc. All Users - Possible server problems, mailer problems, possible email blacklisting, etc.
Please, in the future, file a complete bug report with all possible information.

No it was not one user - it was my lack of understanding that a separate e-mail server was set up to prevent the black listing. I also just found out that Gizmo has helped us in the past - I am sorry but my admin has little ubb skills and I am only a moderator.. We still have many other users on this list since we have over 25,000 users many of them have not used our board in many years. So I guess all the e-mails addresses have created the blacklisting problem. This list was their way of dealing with it.
