Well it could not be for a better use. For me my salt and pepper hair would look kinda funny on children. But I guess they dye it also.

My sister was whining that she wanted to donate her hair but it's dyed and they supposidly don't take that; but I read somewhere that they do take dyed (or salt and pepper) hair and sell that hair and use the proceeds as a monitory donation .... So if you want an excuse to grow your hair to 10"..

My sister is a cosmetologist, In fact she has two gold Olympic medals for it from the seventies. She does work with the group on occasion. And tells me that I could do the same thing. But?? My wife is also a cosmetologist and she hates it when my hair gets more than 4 inches long. Even though when we met my hair was past my shoulders. LOL!!

I remember that the sports olympics were in another country that year but she went to Atlanta. The tickets I purchased were tax deductible and they are genuine Olympic gold medals she received. I thought it was just a play on the words when she asked me to attend myself. But it was for real.

I remember when I chopped my hair. Pretty traumatic. The good news is that it looks pretty good Gizzy, and even better, that it is a good cause.
Everything is a lot LOUDER and colder than last week, isn't it?

I got a postcard from Locks of Love today: JAMES went to great lengths to help a child.
Dear JAMES,
Thank you for your generous hair donation! Your selfless act of kindness will benefit a Locks of Love recipient and change their life for the better. Most of our recipients suffer from an autoimmune desiese called alopecia areata, which has no known cause or cure. Other recipients are cancer survivors, victims of trauma such as burns and rare dermatological conditions that result in permanent hair loss. Your donation of hair will help return smiles to the many vairied faces of our children. On behalf of those children, their families and the Board of Directors,
THANK YOU - YOU MADE A DIFFERENCE!!
Madonna Coffman President Really made my day to receive it this afternoon
