I have been watching the threads and I am convinced(sp?) that there is something wrong with the installation docs for the freeware UBB. I have followed them "TO THE LETTER", without any success. This is getting very frustrating. I am using WS-FTP-LE to transfer the files to the site.
The site is
http://games.calweb.com/ the cgi folder is right after that and so is the ubb folder. The permissions are exactly what they are supposed to be(per the docs on web site)

Thanks from the heart!! I really want to get this to work as I am very impressed as to the features that the commercial version has and I want to get this going so I can "iron out the bugz" so when I get the Pro. version , I can do it without problems.
