That is correct.

If the forum isn't indexed by date, you can't very well move topics from it on a date basis. <img src="https://www.ubbcentral.com/boards/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

You can briefly switch the forum back to date sort mode if you need to move topics from it.
