I wasn't going to worry about this since v7 was gonna be coming out so quickly, but now with the delays, a few of my users are getting grumpy, so I figure I'll ask and see if anyone knows anything.
I upgraded my boards from 6.4.0 to 6.5.5 a couple weeks ago, after I finally ponied up for the membership renewal. And after that nobody can edit any of the three parts of their profile. When you submit the form, it gives a cursory "We cannot proceed... Please use your back button" error. No actual information about why, that's all it says. And nothing shows up in my server error logs either. My board is

The only difference between my board and the stock code is that passwords are stored as sha1 instead of md5 - I did a Replace In Files to change all instances of md5 to sha1, and the column holds 40 chars instead of 32. Had to do it this way because I used PunBB, which uses sha1, for a short while and I didn't wanna make all my users change their passwords again (went from Threads to Eve to PunBB and back to Threads again... that's a lot of password changing!).
Anyway, this isn't really super important since v7 is coming out shortly, but if anyone happens to know of a quick fix, I'd appreciate it.
