There's a lot of info for installing phpmyadmin here:
https://www.ubbcentral.com/resources/PhPMyAdmin.html

as well as moving a threads forum here:

https://www.ubbcentral.com/support/docs/ubbthreads/UBBthreads_backup_transfer.html

and here:

https://www.ubbcentral.com/support/install.php?product=UBB.threads

hint: always ftp your mysql files in ascii

This really isn't an easy task for people new to php and mysql, you may want to invest in professional assistance - sometimes your new hosts will do it for free or nearly free, tho thye may be unfamiliar with threads. The good people at groupee can do the move for you (can be quite pricey if your forum is large), I can do it as well (not quite as pricey). If you would like groupee to do it, https://www.ubbcentral.com/order.php?product=UBB.threads If you'd like me to do it, please pm me with further info.
